Raven Banner Sweden
Out of the windswept plains of southern Sweden comes Raven Banner, delivering furious metal for raising horns and razing
cities.
Founded in 2021 in Skåne, Sweden by veterans of earlier viking raids with the goal of making music for the viking horde to bang their heads to.
Inspired by the history and mythology of the area, the music is both harsh and melodic, technical and straightforward.

Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10

I’ve been a fan of In Flames since 96’ and I’ve stopped listening to them after “Come Clarity”, but I still have faith in them knowing one day, they’ll make a come back with a heavier album and “Foregone” is that come back album of sorts, it’s a mash up of all that they’ve done and it is a good solid modern melodic death metal album.
